The short documentary for children, ‘Hoe Hannie ben jij?’ shows the life story of a young Dutch resistance fighter in World War II.
The documentary contains archive footage, live action acting and animation. It was commissioned by the Hannie Schaft Stichting and directed by Deborah van Dam.
The animation part was produced by Mehdi Assen and animated + designed by Kabo Lam. I did coloring cleaning and animation work.
As of 2022, ‘Hoe Hannie ben jij’ has won an ‘Best Scientific or Educational Adult & Professional’ award at the Children’s Film Festival of Wales!
